About Me

Russell Brausch is a contemporary landscape oil painter. Raised off the coast of Maine and mountains of Colorado, being immersed in contrasting American landscapes has inspired his paintings throughout the years. After receiving his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, Russell moved to Bozeman, Montana to pursue his graduate work. In 2025, he graduated from Montana State University with his Master of Fine Arts. Works from his Graduate Thesis show were collected by Bridger Aerospace and was invited to the University of Cambridge in England to speak about the show at the Association for Art History conference in April 2026.

Russell currently paints out of his studio near the Bridger Canyon road and continues to make Bozeman his home. Several galleries across the region has featured his work in exhibitions.
